Drive course that permits bike riding only during the Wakasaji Century Ride:Mikata Goko Rainbow Line

Drive course in magnificent scenery overlooking the panoramic view of the sea, mountains and lakes

Rainbow Line is a toll road of approximately 11 kilometers long located on the border between Mihama-cho and Wakasa-cho. Because the road leading to the top of the mountain at approximately 400m in height provides various beautiful views when turning the curves, people enjoy this driving course very much. You can see the ria coast, Mikata Goko (Five Lakes of Mikata), and Mount Haku in the distance from Rainbow Line Summit Park. The beauties of nature will never tire looking at them. This road is usually for exclusive use by automobiles, but once a year, only participants of the Wakasaji Century Ride are allowed to ride their bicycles and try ups, downs and continuous curves through the forest.
